Queensland's state archive. ArchivesSearch is an item-level catalogue, free and open, covering court, lands, immigration, police and school records. VERIFIED IN USE: the series Supreme Court (Northern) Ecclesiastical Files (Wills) S6220 alone holds 15,707 items, named per person, each marked open access. Catalogue only — the files themselves are paper and must be ordered or viewed on site; a catalogue entry gives the name, a year and an item ID and nothing more. A usable JSON endpoint exists at /api/fetch?uri=/repositories/2/archival_objects/<id>, which returns the full record including its series and preferred citation. The /api/search endpoint is live but its free-text parameter was not established: type[] is accepted and every text parameter tried was rejected. Trove indexes a subset of these item records, so they can also be reached from there.
