USHMM - Primary Source Databases (list of electronic resources)

A curated list of 39 databases and archives about the Holocaust and Nazi-era persecution, grouped as Camps, First-Person Accounts, Life Under the Nazi Regime, Propaganda, Refugees, Resistance, United States, War Crime Trials and Additional Resources. Name-bearing entries include Arolsen Archives, Kazerne Dossin deportation lists and victim photographs, the Fortunoff and USC Shoah Foundation testimony archives, JDC Archives, DigiBaeck (Leo Baeck Institute), a Nuremberg-laws index of Jews stripped of German nationality, 'The Jewish Question: Documents from the BDC' (Gale), Shanghai Municipal Police files on individual Jewish refugees (Gale) and the Dachau trials records (Gale). Most entries are intended for use inside the Museum; only some are marked as available to researchers outside it, and most carry no access note. It is a pointer list, not a name search.
