Holocaust Survivors and Victims Names Database — United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

The US Holocaust Memorial Museum's names database: a name record for each person who appears in a document in its collections, its Survivors' Registry and records from other organisations (census records, registration forms, ghetto and camp lists, death lists). Covers Jews, Roma and Sinti, Poles and other Slavic peoples, Soviet prisoners of war and political prisoners. Two searches: Names (last and first name, each Exact with wildcards, Fuzzy, or D-M Soundex for Eastern European and Yiddish variants) and Lists and Sources (title, author, year, place, provenance, keywords). The page says some resources are not online and that the full database can be used in the Museum's reading room. Its record total and whether an account is needed were not stated on the page. Read on 2026-11-04.
